About This Guide

pianoThis guide provides links to resources for learning about the many diverse people and styles in dance.

The world of dance is incredibly diverse, and it is impossible to represent that in a single guide. Therefore, this guides focuses primarily on American stage dance. It does not cover the even more diverse worlds of international, folk, and popular dance. Ask a librarian for help finding resources on these and other topics.

Additionally, all our guides are works in progress! We are still adding more resources and creating new guides on more topics. If you know of a resource that should be included in this guide, please tell us!

Navigate the guide via the tabs at the top of the page, or use the links in the Table of Contents below to get started.
