Find a Specific Play

Scripts and Videos in the Library

floorplan of Mortensen Upper level, P section to the left of the stairsUsually, finding a play is easy! Follow these steps:

  1. In the catalog search box, enter the play title and author's last name.
  2.  Limit the format to Books (for scripts) or Videos.
  3. Find the play you need in the resulting list.
  4. Use the call number to find it on the shelf. Most plays are on the upper level of Mortensen Library and have a call number starting with P.

Occasionally, plays are harder to find. If you can't find a particular script, it may be "hiding" in an anthology. Your friendly librarians know the tricks for finding these—just ask one of us and we'll be happy to help!
